Director Kevin Chen

During the summer of the 2002 World Cup in Asia,
two young Chinese boys face the biggest crack ever
of their “football friendship,” under the pressure
of their divergent family social status. Confronting
the inevitable farewell, the two learn the value of
companionship and responsibility for the first time. In
this coming-of-age short film, director CHEN subtly
captures boyhood’s unique vibe mixed with mud and
sweat, laughter and tears.
