Twelve-year-old Xiao Ai seems to be the only one affected by the death of an elderly neighbor whom everyone called "Crazy Granny". In the abandoned apartment of the deceased, Xiao Ai begins to form a connection with her neighbor and uncover her past.

About the Director

Xia Fan is a London - based writer and director from China. She studied French Literature at Xiamen University a nd Film Studies at the University of Stirling before working in media marketing in London. She later completed an MA in Filmmaking at the London Film School, where she wrote and directed several short films and a documentary. She now works as a freelance filmmaker, drawn to poetic realism that blurs memory, imagination, and lived reality
