THANK YOU!
SEE YOU NEXT YEAR.
Made in China 2024 by visual artist Musketon
Musketon's latest piece feels like a walk through a memory lane of Kowloon Walled City, but with a twist—it's as if someone turned the dial way past the present, into a realm where the city's infamous density meets the digital age. Picture this: instead of walls and windows, there's an endless stack of colorful, old-school TVs, each screen buzzing with life, but nobody's home.
It's like Musketon's asking us to think about how we're all tuned into our own channels, stacked up on each other, but maybe not connecting the way we should. The TVs are a throwback, but the message is right now—how we live piled up in our urban jungles, getting our doses of reality through screens.
Right there in the center is this lone figure, back turned to us, just taking it all in. It's as if Musketon dropped them there and said, "Here, stand in their shoes for a sec." It's a chill invitation to step into the frame and soak up the neon buzz of this digital forest.
